Enquirer restaurant critic Polly Campbell recently reviewed The Polo Grille at 5035 Deerfield Blvd in neighboring Deerfield Township.

The restaurant, she writes, is owned by the local Tavern Group, which owns several Pubs, but The Polo Grille remains unique among their themes.  And, the restaurant’s inspiration is rooted in reality: the land that makes up Deerfield Towne Centre was once Cincinnati’s Polo Grounds.

Chef Thom Milliken delivers a menu of good, original dishes, says Campbell, featuring South American-Spanish-Indian cuisine, but also hamburgers and pizzas.  Wine is an emphasis here, adds Campbell.  The restaurant hosts the popular Wine Divas wine class and other wine events.  Read her complete review.

Prices range from $5-$10 for appetizers, $11-$22 for entrees and $3.50-$6.95 for desserts.  Wine specials include$5 wine flights on Tuesday and half-price wine night on Thursday.  Vegetarian choices include some appetizers, salads and pizza. Reservations are available at www.opentable.com or by calling the restaurant at 513-701-7656.
