Shalom Family will hold its bimonthly Sensory Sunday family event at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at the Gymboree in Mason.
The free one-hour playgroups are open to Jewish families with children ages 18 month and younger in which at least one parent is Jewish. The interactive sessions include stories, songs and a snack.
“These playgroups are free and feature the popular Miss Meliss, who keeps babies and their parents engaged and entertained with her unique brand of fun,” said Shalom Family representative Rachel Rothstein.
The playgroups are offered on the first and third Sunday of each month at Mason Gymboree at 5595 Deerfield Blvd. Shalom Family is an initiative of The Mayerson Foundation and supports local Jewish families with children ages 10 and under.
Reservations are required and can be made by going to www.myshalomfamily.org and clicking on the image for “Sensory Sundays.”
