Cedar Village Retirement Community will hold a free outdoor jazz concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11.
The concert, which features the Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band and is open to the public, is a first event for the Mason retirement community.
“We thought our folks would love an outdoor concert and we thought we’d share the fun with our friends and community,” said Carol Silver Elliott, Cedar Village’s president and CEO.
The Cincinnati-based band specializes in classic traditional Jazz with a flair for humor and entertainment in its presentation.
The concert will be held on Cedar Village’s lawn near its gazebo at 5467 Cedar Village Drive. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Religious and Cultural Center. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
