Thirty-seven Mason Middle School students were selected to perform with the Ohio Music Educators Association District 13 Honor Band.
The honorary band is selected on the basis of competitive auditions among students from Warren, Butler, Preble and Clinton counties. More than 800 students auditions for 200 spots in two bands.
The bands performed together in concert Sunday at Franklin High School.
“This is a fantastic accomplishment for these students and we are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all the students that auditioned,” said MMS Band Director Kyle Young.

8th Grade Honor Band
Shreya Alluri, Alex Chung, Allegra Delman, Lenox Emmert, Hailey Forston, Brianna Grimes, Caiti Izumi, Jeffrey Li, Asa Maine,Nicholas Marino, Dennison Min, Danielle Morey, Megan Moyer, Nia Myrie, Anthony Scoburgh, Michael Shu,George Valcarcel, and Ryan Worle .
7th Grade Honor Band
Katy Byerly,Ally Ciepichal, Gabe Carr, Joe Cooper, Larry Gao, Marcel Goodwin, Rachel Hardin, Landon Higginbotham, Jessica Huang, Kamala Mallur, Peyton Marion, Mike McDonald, Max Mitchell, Kathy Qian, Aditya Singh, Dennis Sweeney, Evan Urbanowicz, Scott Vennemeyer, and Emily Wang.
