Paul McKibben reports:
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday it arrested three teens early June 26 in connection with damage to homes happening over the last several weeks in the Montgomery Hills community in Landen, notably to mailboxes and landscaping.
Arrested were:
• Dustin Reed, 18, of Fairfield, on six counts of criminal damaging, one count of theft, three counts of attempted theft and one count of underage consumption.
• Blake Irwin, 18, of Maineville, on five counts of criminal damaging, one count of drug paraphernalia and one count of underage consumption.
• Alexander York, 19, of Maineville, on one count of obstructing official business.
The sheriff’s office said Irwin and Reed were found at a party at 2910 Larchwood Court in Landen.
Three teens were charged with underage consumption stemming from the party. They are Nicholas Hoffet, 18, of Maineville, Taylar Ventura, 18, of Montgomery and Zachary Sporing, 18, of Milford.
The sheriff’s office also charged three juveniles who were released to their parents.
It said the investigation and arrests were part of ongoing uniform patrol and unmarked patrol in the Landen area designed to curb the recent surge in criminal damaging offenses and juvenile unruliness.
In a separate case, the sheriff’s office arrested nine teens June 30 who are either 18 or 19 years old and three juveniles in connection with a party in Deerfield Township where underage drinking occurred.
