Showers, thunderstorms wrap weekend

Cooler air is in and showers are in the forecast for this weekend.

Scattered showers and storms are developing from the south, with showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Today is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high of 83 degrees.

Mostly cloudy skies will persist tonight with a 60 percent chance of rain before 8 p.m. Lows will dip to around 69 degrees.

If you’re headed out this weekend, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly after 1 p.m. Daytime highs tomorrow will be near 83 degrees, with a low of around 70.

The clouds and rain continue into Sunday, with showers and thunderstorms likely, mostly between 2-3 p.m. The temperature will climb to 85 degrees and dip to around 70.
