It will be a hot and humid week with high temperatures in the low-to-mid-90s.
Today should be partly sunny with a high of 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
There’s a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms tonight between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
Otherwise, overnight should be partly cloudy with a low of 65.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with the high soaring to 95 degrees, a good 10 degrees above the normal high temperature for this time of year, said meteorologist Ashley Novak.
There’s another slight, 20 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night, mainly after 5 p.m.
The overnight low will be 67.
Any rain we get will be in fairly low amounts, less than a tenth of an inch, Novak said.
So far this year, our rainfall total is 5.48 inches below normal. Just 20.66 inches has been recorded at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, compared with the 26.14 we typically see by this time of year, Novak said.
The rest of the week will remain dry and mostly sunny with highs in the low-to-mid 90s.
Overnight lows will hover between the upper 60s and low 70s.
