’60s band Aftermath to perform free concert this Sunday

Aftermath bandThe sounds of the 1960s return Sunday as the latest in Mason’s Sunshine concert series kicks off.

Aftermath: Experience the ’60s will perform a free concert at 6 p.m. that evening at the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road.

The high-energy Cleveland-area band performs popular hits from bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Turtles, The Doors, and The Monkees in authentic period dress.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.  Refreshments will be available for purchase from Culver’s Mobile Custard Cart.

The Sunshine Concert series features free weekly concerts at different venues in the city through Aug. 19.  All concerts start at 6 p.m.  For more information, call the City of Mason at 513-229-8500 or go to www.imaginemason.org.
