A Mason teen is among 68 high school students from across the state to be awarded the Ohio State Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship award from The Ohio State University.
Andrea Holderbaum, a 2012 Mason High School graduate, will begin her studies at the university’s Columbus campus this month.
The award, which is renewable for up to eight semesters or four years, is made available to academically-talented students who demonstrate financial need.
It combines scholarships, federal and state grants and a work-study component to cover the recipient’s full tuition, room and board, books and supplies, transportation needs and other out-of-pocket expenses.
