Darryl JohnsonDarryl Johnson’s fancy footwork on the gridiron Friday in Mason’s match against Glen Este hasn’t gone unnoticed.

The senior running back has been nominated for this week’s Cincinnati Bengals Ohio National Guard Cincinnati High School Player of the Week on bengals.com.

Johnson, who is 5 feet 10 and 205 pounds, ran for 209 yards on 20 carries with three touchdowns to help Mason improve to 2-1. The Comets stormed past the Trojans, 27-3.
