Mason High School’s athletic office announced its athletes of the week. This week’s honorees are golf standouts Alex Ebel and Miranda Dubler.
Alex, a senior on the Mason boys’ golf team, has been a low scorer at many team events this fall, reports his coaches. He led the Comets to its first GMC title with a two-day total of 149 at the conference tourney, finishing in second place.
Miranda, a junior on the Mason girls’ golf team, has been working “extremely hard” at her game and her work showed in her play at sectionals on Monday, say her coaches. She fired a 75 — the third best for the entire field — which helped the team qualify for districts.
