Sue Kiesewetter reports:
Corwin’s Hisey Park will be the setting for the newly formed Warren County Astronomical Society’s Sky Party Saturday.
The event begins about 4:30 p.m. at the 158-acre Warren County park, 5443 Middletown Road.
Members of the society will set up several telescopes in the park for night viewing. They will be available to answer questions and point out stars, constellations and other bodies.
During the daylight hours a radio-satellite station will be set up to talk to others through small orbiting satellites. The International Space Station will also pass through on the satellite schedule and will be tracked that night on a computer screen.
