A Warren County judge has sentenced an 83-year-old Mason man to 15 years in prison for sex crimes that started in 1984.
Albert Moore pleaded guilty to two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition involving three victims.
Authorities said the crimes occurred from 1984 to 2008. The victims, who were acquainted with Moore and were under age 13 at the time of the offenses, are now adults.
The crimes, which ranged from fondling to digital penetration, came to light when one of the women attended a counseling session, said Mason Detective Toni Hoelke. The investigation expanded to the two other victims.
Two of the victims say the abuse occurred when they were toddlers, with one reporting between 50-100 instances of digital penetration over a period of years, said Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell.
Another said the abuse occurred when she was 5 and again when she was 12, he said.
Moore initially was arrested on two counts of gross sexual imposition last March. He was released from jail but ordered to wear an electronic monitor, according to court records.
