This is is the last weekend for many Warren County fall festivals and haunts. So get out and pick that perfect pumpkin, stock up on preserves and catch a hayride. Here are things going on in the region:

LEBANON

Fall Weekends, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, and 12-6 p.m., Sundays through October. Irons Fruit Farm, 1640 Stubbs Mill Road. Cincinnati Reds-themed event with hayrides, 12-acre corn maze and pumpkin patch. Hayrides to the farm’s pumpkin patch; the wagon ride is free. Guests pay for the pumpkin by the pound. Pumpkin Patch Express, departure times are at 9:45 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. weekends in October. Mason & Monroe Railroad, 127 S. Mechanic St., Lebanon. Forty-five-minute train ride through Warren County with a one-hour stopover at Schappacher Farm in Mason and return ride to Lebanon Station. $18.50; $15.50 seniors 62 and older and children 5-16; $8.50 toddler 2-4; free to under 2. 513-933-8022 or www.lebanonrr.com.

LOVELAND

Fall on the Farm Festival, Blooms & Berries Farm Market, 9669 S. Ohio 48, Loveland. Hay rides to pumpkin patch, children’s farm-themed play area, caramel apples and cider. 513-697-9173.

MASON

Family Weekends, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily through October. Schappacher Farms, 3829 S. U.S. 42, Mason. Pumpkin patch, weekend hayrides, corn maze, seasonal decorations and petting pen. Maze and hayrides are free. Pumpkins priced by the pound. 513-398-0904.

Howl-O-Palooza, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Weekend through Oct. 28. Kings Island, 6300 Kings Island Drive, Mason. Family event featuring costume contests, hay bale mazes, more. $54.99; $33.99 juniors and seniors. Discounts online/Kroger. Halloween Haunt, 6 p.m.-1 a.m., Friday and Saturdays, Sept. 21-Oct. 27; 7 p.m.-1 a.m., Sept. 22. Kings Island, 6300 Kings Island Drive, Mason. More than 500 ghastly creatures, more than 13 chilling haunted attractions and hair-raising rides. Not recommended for children. MORROW

SPRINGBORO
