Leaf collection has begun in Mason and will continue through Dec. 14.
Crews from Mason Public Works Department will post orange and black temporary signs in neighborhoods at least two days prior to collection. Residents are encouraged to rake leaves close to the curb and cover with a tarp.
The service is free for residents. The city collected 3,688 cubic yards of leaves last year, which were them provided to local nurseries and residents to use as compost. For leaf delivery, call the Public Works Department at 513-229-8580.
The city collects brush on the second full week of each month.
Leaf collection in Deerfield Township begins Nov. 5 and runs through Nov. 30.
Deerfield crews will only pick up bagged leaves. Residents are encouraged to mulch the leaves prior to bagging and leave in the grass berm in front of residences on trash days.
