Last season: 17-4 (10-4)
What’s new: The Comets will rely on their tried-and-true upperclassmen, some of whom have three years experience.
Key players: Senior F Kayla McDowell, junior G Jenna Gunn, senior G Sarah Ammons, senior G Sydney Neal, senior G Alyssa Herren
Outlook: Mason posted the GMC’s best field-goal percentage last year, and the effective shooting should continue with four seniors in the starting lineup. McDowell (13.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg), a Missouri commit, led the league in shooting percentage.
