Four suspects are in custody in connection with an armed home invasion in Deerfield Township.
The incident occurred just after midnight Thursday morning at a Sweet Bay Street apartment. The victims said three black males wearing masks entered the apartment with an assault rifle and held them at gunpoint as they took items and then fled the scene.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported, say police.
Eyewitness accounts led the Warren County Tactical Response Team to execute a search warrant at a residence on Falcon Lane in Deerfield Township, where police say they recovered stolen property, narcotics and weapons.
Police arrested Dominic R. Wallace, 18, of Mason; Mikal V. Evans, 19, of Mason, and Michael E. Walker III, 20, of Mason. The suspects have been charged with aggravated burglary.
Police also arrested Matthew C. Jackson, 19, of Mason, on charges of complicity to aggravated burglary.
The suspects remain in custody at the Warren County Jail. Additional charges are expected.
