Cliff Peale reports:
A chance of rain Christmas Eve morning could give way to some snow later in the week.
Holiday travelers should be in the clear for Christmas Day, but a mix of rain and snow is on the way Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday, with accumulations of up to an inch expected in most of southwest Ohio.
Accumulations of four inches or more are expected along Interstate 70 to the north, while those in northern Ohio and Indiana could see even more.
In our region, it’s raining this morning but with a temperature at 7 a.m. of 34 degrees and a high today in the low 40s, there’s little chance of snow today.
After a partly cloudy Christmas Day with a high in the low 40s, a mix of snow and rain should start late Tuesday night. Any snow probably won’t start until later in the day Wednesday.
