Pop Revolution Community Studio in Mason is hosting an event on Wednesday where people can make snowflakes for all of the Sandy Hook Elementary staff and students.
The art studio will provide all of the art supplies for event, which will take place Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The snowflakes will be then used to create a “Winter Wonderland” for Sandy Hook Elementary staff and students returning to their new school after the New Year.
“I was approached by Bonnie from our Pop community because she has a friend that lost his son in the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting,” said Pattie Byron. “The Connecticut PTSA is spearheading a wonderful project that will help the students have a winter wonderland at their new school.”
If you can’t attend, you can drop off your snowflakes at the studio by Tuesday. After the event, Pop will mail all the snowflakes to the PTSA in Connecticut.
