The Mason Fire Department will offer a American Heart Association CPR class from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 6 at Mason Fire Station 51, 4420 Mason-Montgomery Road.
Those who take the class, which is free for residents and Mason Community Center premier members, will receive a certification from the American Heart Association. The class is $7 for non-residents of Mason who are community center basic members and $10 for non-residents.
The class is part of a series of CPR courses offered by the department. A less comprehensive 30-minute instruction in Hands-Only CPR is offered between the hours of 9-11 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. This class does not include a certification.
