The Goddard School in Mason earned top honors this month from Ohio’s House of Representatives.
State Rep. Peter Beck’s office presented the private school with a certificate of special recognition for educational excellence. The honor coincides with the national organization’s 25th anniversary.
Legislators praised the school’s “high quality of education” and the commitment of faculty and staff to improving student performance, responsibility and participation.
“This recognition demonstrates to our community that children in our program receive the best possible care and early learning experiences,” said owner Kerra Spaeth.
The school, which opened in 1996 at 754 Reading Road, has an enrollment of about 180 students ages six weeks to 10 years.
