Mason Police arrested a Texas man Tuesday who was found in a Kings Island parking lot with three guns — one of them loaded — and drugs in his truck.
Rodney L. Grisham, 37, of Dallas, is charged with possession of a weapon under disability, a third-degree felony, and drug possession.
Police say they received a report of a suspicious person in the lot of the Mason amusement park. Upon questioning, Grisham, an over-the-road truck driver, admitted to having a loaded shotgun in his truck.
Police say they also found two other handguns and non-licensed prescription medication not prescribed to Grisham in the truck. Information on the guns’ registration was not immediately available from Mason Police.
Grisham has previous drug and aggravated battery convictions out of Kansas. His criminal history prohibits him from owning a gun, according to police.
Grisham remains in custody at the Warren County Jail on a $200,000 bond. He’s expected to be arraigned on the charges Monday.
