Jennifer Edwards Baker reports:
A cold front from the Great Lakes moved in overnight, finally shoving out a mass of hot, humid air that’s choked Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky over the past several days.
We’ll enjoy lower-than-normal temperatures and pleasant, sunny conditions through week’s end.
It’s 66 degrees with a slight breeze in downtown Cincinnati this morning. Later, the mercury will only climb to 78 degrees, about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 58 degrees.
Highs will be in the upper-70s and low-80s with overnight lows in the upper-50s and low-60s through at least early next week.
We’ll see plenty of sun through week’s end, and then there’s a 40 percent chance for storms Saturday afternoon and again Saturday night.
