Jennifer Edwards Baker reports:
Planning to take a long bicycle ride this weekend or enjoy a brew at Cincy Beerfest on Fountain Square?
You’ll have the perfect weather for it.
A cold front moved through our region overnight, bringing more comfortable, cooler air after several days of sweltering heat and humidity.
The current temperature is a breezy 60 degrees at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. We won’t make it out of the 60s today. The afternoon high will reach 68 under mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Tonight will be our coldest since May 25 nearly four months ago. The overnight low will plunge to 46 degrees.
We’ll warm up into the 70s during the day and 50s overnight Saturday and Sunday. Expect lots of sun.
That pleasant stretch of weather will continue over the next several days.
