We’re off to a cool start across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky this morning with a low of 47 degrees Downtown.
You might need a coat as you head out the door to work or school on this first morning of fall, which officially began at 4:44 p.m. Sunday.
The mercury will climb to 63 degrees under mostly sunny skies by lunchtime and top out around 71 degrees at 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
That’s just a few degrees below normal for this time of year, said meteorologist Ashley Novak.
The rest of the week will feature dry and comfortable conditions. Expect lots of sun and daytime highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Overnight lows will hover in the low 60s.
