Update: Casting director Dori Branch says producers need “about 80 or so” extras for “The Christmas Spirit.” But she adds: “We are looking for local Lebanon people.”
If you’re from the Lebanon area, she provided this info:
“If people are interested though, please pass along my email. Tell them to include a photo, and if I have something for them, I’ll let them know. I’d rather have more people to choose from than less.”

Original post 6 p.m. Thursday Sept. 26: Extras are needed for Nicollette Sheridan’s “The Christmas Spirit” movie which starts filming next week here.
The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is helping the Hallmark Channel producers find adults and extras needed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The roles:
1 Female in her 30′s – Hospital Patron – Tuesday
1 Male in his 30′s – Hospital Patron – Tuesday
1 Male in his 30′s – Patient – Tuesday
3 Males ages 50′s-60′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday
3 Males age 40′s-50′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday
3 Males age 20′s-30′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday
3 Females ages 20′s-30′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday
3 Females ages 40′s-50′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday
3 Females ages 50′s-60′s – Cafe Patrons – Wednesday

The casting call was not posted on the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Film Commission site.
Here’s my Monday blog announcing the movie, which details the synopsis. Oscar-winner Olympia Dukakis (“Moonstruck”) and Bart Johnson (“High School Musical,” “The Client List”) also will star in “The Christmas Spirit.”
The movie will premiere Dec. 1 on the Hallmark Channel.
