Discover new and time-honored ways to get and stay healthy at the third annual Community Wellness Expo at Mason Community Center.
On Saturday, Oct. 12, stop by to enjoy informational presentations, visit over 20 vendor booths, and enter to win a door prize.
At 9:30 a.m., Sheryl Tischer will talk about “The Power of Fruits and Vegetables.”
At 10:30, representatives from Mason Professional Business Alliance will present “Emotional Wellness through Sound Tax, Legal, and Financial Decision-Making.”
At 11 a.m., Sherry Carmichael will talk about “The Dangers of Toxic Cleaners” and at 11:30, Dr. Joe Minnich will give a presentation entitled “Beyond Wellness.” Everyone is invited to attend any or all of these free morning presentations.
Visit Mason Community Center from 9 a.m. to noon to browse the vendor booths for a variety of health and wellness information and enter to win a door prize.
Bring the kids to participate in crafts or games in the Kid Zone.
You can also sign up for the Hoxworth Community Blood Drive that will be at Mason Community Center on Oct. 14, learn about flu shots from Group Health Associates, and learn about senior services available through both Mason Community Center and TriHealth. Financial planners, local restaurants, chiropractic offices, and others will be on site with their interactive booths so you can get a variety of information all in one convenient location.
The expo is free to the community.
