Every day, people like you make a difference in Greater Cincinnati by sharing their good health. They do it by the simple act of giving blood.
Blood is a biological product and cannot be stored indefinitely in its liquid state. To make sure there is always enough blood and blood components for patients, Hoxworth Blood Center needs members of the community to donate regularly. Donating blood is safe and easy. As long as healthy, volunteer donors keep replenishing the community supply, life-saving blood and blood components are available to those at the time of their greatest need.
Live Well in Mason, a partnership of Mason Community Center and TriHealth dedicated to creating a healthier community, is partnering with Hoxworth to make it easy for you to help. Donate blood at Mason Community Center between 8 and 10:15 a.m. or between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14.
The blood will be utilized by TriHealth to keep their cost of blood down for their patients at their hospital locations. To schedule an appointment, visit www.hoxworth.org/groups/mason
