Mason dominated the Loveland Tiger Invitational, as their “A” and “B” teams finished in the top two of the team standings in the 3.2 mile race with 40 and 41 points respectively.
The Comets had six runners finish in the top 10, as Nick Grismer of Mason’s “A” team finished in first place with a time of 16:00.
Other “A” team finishers were Ethan Valentine and Ryan Sanders, who finished in fifth and sixth place.
Leading the “B” team were Tom Clark, Zac Thompson and Justin Koehler who finished in third, fourth and eighth place respectively.
Turpin finished in third place behind the Mason squads, with a total score of 65.
Alaeldin Tirba finished second overall in 16:15, followed by Drew Kiracofe who finished fifth.
Mason is ranked No. 2 in the Enquirer Division I area coaches’ poll.
