Graeter’s is giving away free cones of its best-selling Elena’s Blueberry Pie ice cream from noon to 5 p.m. today at all of its Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations.
The free ice cream give-away kicks off Cones for the Cure, a partnership between the Cincinnati ice creamery and The Cure Starts Now Foundation, which raises awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.
The Elena’s Blueberry Pie flavor was created by a Graeter’s customer to benefit the foundation, founded by the Desserich family of Cincinnati after losing their six-year-old daughter Elena to cancer in 2007
The Cones for the Cure campaigns runs through Sept. 25. Guests who visits Graeter’s during this time can donate a $1 or $5 “Cone for the Cure.” Those who donate $5 will receive a gift booklet with more than $15 worth of coupons at Graeter’s stores.
Graeter’s has one location in Deerfield Township at 5076 Natorp Blvd. See a complete list of locations at www.graeters.com.
Can’t make it to a Graeter’s today for your free cone? No worries. Graeter’s will be announcing two more free cone days later this month. Keep a watch out on Graeter’s Cones for the Cure page.
