The Mason Community Center will host a free sports nutrition seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Ryan Smith, an exercise physiologist and owner of Personal Impact, LLC., will speak about the physiology and science behind nutrition for endurance athletes.
Smith, who has more than 20 years experience in the fitness industry has certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine, USA Track & Field and Newton Running. He is a certified food psychology coach by the Spencer Institute and as a FMS professional through Functional Movement Systems.
He currently serves as vice president of the Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati.
The seminar, which is open to the public, is sponsored by MOJO Tri-Club and Live Well in Mason.. It will be held in the senior room at the center, 6050 Mason-Montgomery Road. For more information, call 513-229-8555.
