Jennifer Edwards-Baker reports:
Yes, you are waking up to more frigid temperatures and a frost advisory until 9 a.m. this morning for the easternmost areas in Greater Cincinnati: Warren and Clermont counties.
And, yes, it’s a brisk 36 degrees at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron.
But by 5 p.m., the mercury will soar to 68 degrees under a sunny sky – the perfect way to kick off any weekend.
In fact, the entire weekend looks to be mostly sunny with highs in the 60s and upper 70s, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
There’s just a 40 percent chance of rain between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sunday’s high temperature could even hit 80, said meteorologist Scott Hickman.
Overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
Looking ahead to next week, clouds and rain return starting on Monday. Temperatures will remain mild and in the 70s and 60s.
