A Warren County girls soccer team has qualified to compete in the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships set for June 22-27 in Saginaw, Michigan.
The Warren County United 97 Blue U14 girls is among dozens of teams from the Midwest to vie for the regional championship.
Five other Cincinnati area teams also made the cut: Classics Eagles Red (U15 boys), Classics Eagles Red (U17 boys), Hammer FC Premier (U16 girls), Kings Soccer Academy (U15 girls) and Cincinnati Soccer Alliance Elite (U18 girls).
The Region II Championships feature the Midwest’s top teams in the U13 through U19 age groups. Round robin games are played June 23-25 with semifinal matches on June 26. The championship game will be played on June 27.
Regional champions earn a berth to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships, set for June 24-29 in Rock Hill, S.C.
