Mason Schools honored 41 Mason educators this week for joining an elite group of educators who are considered the best in their profession.
The teachers are among those who have achieved the state licensure of Master Teacher. To be a Master Teacher, teachers had to submit a portfolio demonstrating their instructional leadership, teaching skills and professional development.
The new Master Teachers include: Kelly Affatato, Jennifer Anthony, Cassandra Bethel, Janell Bishop, Curt Bly, Kristina Broaddrick, Nikeisha Brooks, Mark Campbell, Jessica Chappelle, Linda Cook, Elizabeth DeBord, Cindy Donnelly, Martin Fish, Jill Gasson, Chantele Gillman, Ricardo Grayer, Clare Hilbert, Lynne Hutchinson, Monica Johnston, Monya Jones, Jessica Krohn, Kerry Kronenberger, Darin Little, Shanna Lutton, Erica Lyons, Barbara Marotta, Tammy Marvin, Rob Matula, Margaret Moschell, Stacie Moyer, Kelli O’Connell, Nicole Paxton, Alison Reis, Christina Roberts, Madeleine Rossetti, Andrew Schur, Rita Shriver-Schehr, Pamela Tanghal, Christine Work, Allen Young, and Amy Zinnecker.
“What a pleasure it is to recognize these exemplary Mason Master Teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week,” Superintendent Gail Kist-Kline told the teachers. “Your persistence, hard work and strong commitment to your students is greatly appreciated, and countless students in Mason are fortunate to be guided by you.”
