A portion of Socialville-Foster Road will remain closed on Friday, reports the Warren County Engineer’s Office.

The roadway was originally scheduled to close between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday between Old 3C Highway and Western Row Road in Deerfield Township.  The work has now been extended through Friday.

Detours will be posted and will use Old 3C Highway, Landen Drive and Socialville-Foster Road.

The original closure date was set for Wednesday, but weather forecasts pushed construction back one day.

A portion of Socialville-Foster Road in Deerfield Township will close for one day Wednesday as part of a road culvert replacement project.

The closure, which affects the roadway between Snider and Mason-Montgomery roads, is set for 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the Warren County Engineer’s Office.

The office reported last week the closure would be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the closure will be rescheduled to Thursday.  Detours will use Snider and Irwin-Simpson roads and Wilkins Blvd.

A portion of Socialville-Foster Road in Deerfield Township will close Wednesday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The one-day closure, which affects the roadway between Snider and Mason-Montgomery roads, is to allow for road culvert replacement work, according to the Warren County Engineer’s Office.

The west leg of Socialville-Foster Road at Mason-Montgomery Road will be temporarily closed this mid-morning due to traffic signal issues, reports the Warren County Engineer’s Office.

Both directions of traffic will be detoured from Arbor Square Drive and Mason-Montgomery Road. Detours will be posted and will use Wilkens Blvd. and Irwin-Simpson and Mason-Montgomery Roads.
