St. Susanna students got an up-close look at some exotic animals this week. Joan Hall from the Cincinnati Zoo visited the Mason school as part of the Frisch’s Outreach program and brought with her a spiny-tailed lizard and Lady Ross turaco bird. Students at St. Susanna School in Mason recited Stations of the Cross during a school presentation Thursday.

Sixth grade students read through the stations, a Christian devotion of the events leading up to and including Christ’s crucifixion. The students then collected money to help people in need and suffering.

Second-graders enjoy a presentation of "The Energized Guyz" by the National Theatre for Children at St. Susanna School in Mason on Thursday. The Enquirer/Leigh Taylor

Students at St. Susanna school enjoyed a live theater production of “The Energized Guyz” today, performed by actors with the National Theatre for Children. Duke Energy sponsored the theatrical program, which teaches children ways to conserve natural resources used to produce electricity. The Enquirer’s Leigh Taylor was there to capture the buzz.
