Get a free scoop of Graeter’s Elena’s blueberry pie ice cream from 5 to 8 p.m. today at all of its Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations.
The free ice cream give-away kicks off Cones for the Cure, a partnership between the Cincinnati ice creamery and The Cure Starts Now Foundation, which raises awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.
The Elena’s Blueberry Pie flavor was created by a Graeter’s customer to benefit the foundation, which was founded by the Desserich family of Cincinnati after losing their six-year-old daughter Elena to cancer in 2007
Graeter’s has one location in Deerfield Township at 5076 Natorp Blvd. See a complete list of locations at www.graeters.com.
Guests who visit Graeter’s during this time can donate a $1 or $5 “Cone for the Cure.” Those who donate $5 will receive a gift booklet with more than $15 worth of coupons at Graeter’s stores, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting The Cure Starts Now.
