The Warren County Transportation Improvement District is one of two local agencies to be honored this month by Ohio Auditor Dave Yost for a “clean” audit.
The Auditor of State Award is presented to local governments and school districts upon completion of a financial audit. To receive the award, agencies must file timely financial reports that do not contain any findings for questioned costs, findings for recovery, material citations or weaknesses or significant deficiencies.
The county’s Transportation Improvement District operates and funds highway-related projects to improve the transportation system in Warren County.
The Clermont County CIC, Inc. is the other organization to be honored.
